The 2007-11 State Plan Goals and Objectives grew out of what Vermonters told us was most important to them.  Many Vermonters took the time to respond to VTDDC's survey in late winter 2006. 129 answered on-line with an additional 50 surveys collected at Special Olympics and other events. Survey comments were compiled by a VTDDC member into a moving document, ‘179 Voices’.  VTDDC also partnered with regional community groups to hold forums around the state and reviewed priorities from a range of organizations as well as key data and reports like the Olmstead Commission findings.
